The Ahmedabad University Centre in India Gujarat, designed by Stephane Paumier Architects, has won the prestigious RIBA International Award for Excellence 2024.
We are delighted to announce that our partner factory, Jay Jalaram Brickworks, supplied the bricks for this outstanding project.
The building showcases strong modern architectural design and materials including concreate frames, prefabricated hollow core slabs, juxtaposed with the use of horizontal polychromatic brickwork, which gives the university a vibrant and striking appearance.
Completed in 2022 at a cost of £1.6m, the new facility includes student services, a food court, sports hall, cinema, and a rooftop running track.
