Conservation materials were specially sourced to build these stunning barns. The materials include genuine handmade bricks, reclaimed Welsh slates and sandstone sourced from Scotland to match materials which weren’t available locally.
The units were designed for agricultural use and as storage facilities. To emphasise their charming character and to blend in with pasture land surroundings, our Reclamation Cheshire bricks were laid in a classic stretcher bond, empahised by features including sandstone quoins and a beautiful arched doorway.
The bricks are aged and tumbled to replicate the look of genuine reclaims. Reclamation Cheshire has now been superseded by our Tumbled Regency Multi bricks, which acquire the same features as the bricks used for this project.
