All blends in the Specification Range are available in metric, linear and brick slip formats.
The standard metric brick measures 65 x 215 x 102.5mm and offers uniformity and conformity with building practices in the UK. Standard is not to be confused with boring; endless bonding patterns and the unique characteristics and colours of these handmade bricks can elevate and energise architecture.
Linears have been around for centuries, the Romans loved them. With starting measurements of 50 x 327 x 102.5mm these distinctive, streamlined bricks can have a significant impact on architectural design. Despite their age, linears offer a contemporary look, an increased sense of scale and clean minimalist detail.
From the beginnings of brick to modern methods of construction – architectural facades offer design flexibility, fast-track installation and a risk-free fit, enabling creativity in exploring the beauty of brick in large scale projects. Our brick slips can be fabricated to suit a variety of systems, including cut and groove, GRC and pre-cast concrete.
