Imperial has invested £1.5 million in the move to larger premises, which includes the development of state-of-the-art processing machinery and new offices.
With the opening of our new site, we have increased stock holding capacity in the UK to 12 million, and more than doubled the processing capacity of our reclamation brick ranges. This means significant expansion of our existing product range, providing more options for our customers.
We are also proud to announce we have a new head office, which was recently renovated from derelict farm buildings, allowing us to better serve our customers and continue to grow as a company.
Part of the investment has involved the installation of revolutionary new processing facilities, dedicated to the large-scale production of tumbled bricks. It’s the first facility of its kind, capable of processing new bricks to perfectly replicate the look of genuine reclaimed bricks, which are often difficult to source in large quantities. Our tumbled bricks have already been used by developers such as Millwood Homes on new build housing developments in the South-East, and we look forward to seeing them used on more exciting projects in the future.
Speaking of the expansion of product ranges, Managing Director Jason Hughes explained: “We can now offer new brick ranges and complementary products, as well as securing the reliable supply for which Imperial is recognised. So, customers have a wider choice available via their local merchants, supported by our long-standing personalised brick matching service.”
